I am Nathalie Graafland, a Dutch photographer and artist, living and working in The Hague. Since a young age both the camera as well as drawing tools offered me the appealing illusion of being able to freeze time and impose my thinking upon it. My contrary relation with time has remained – albeit in a more realistic way – and has led to a core theme for my work: “The peculiar incident of life”. Seemingly So is an image rich blog revolving around this self-proclaimed theme through related photography and art that inspires me.
